Description
Wynn is a Berkeley, California native, and a UC Berkeley honors graduate. A retired California registered architect formally trained in hand drawing and hand architectural drafting, Wynn now focuses on painting, cooking, and golfing with her husband Steve and toy Australian Shepherd Missy.
Watercolor is her first love and Wynn has sold work from various galleries in the Sierra Nevada. In 2017 Wynn created ClimateStrong, a 501c3 nonprofit devoted to inspiring kids to learn about the climate crisis and biodiversity loss and, towards that end, painted a series of watercolor portraits of endangered and threatened wildlife species that are impacted by climate change. Her series began with Arctic animals. Next came Africa, Indonesia, and the Northern California Coast. Currently Wynn is working on a series of wildlife portraits of species from the American west.
Wynn also enjoys painting architectural landmarks, landscapes, and portraits.
